Just got back from another hectic tradeshow week in Berlin. This year we moved our anual party to Suicide Circus as these parties keep getting bigger every year. Over 1000 people came through the doors with many disappointed people getting turned away again. (i said to turn up earlier).
Oliver Duetchmann from Panorama Bar and Matt Owen and Clare James from Cardiff rocked the terrace and indoor rooms alongside the Wasted German Youth Djs.
We left at 10am and the party was still going strong. Hope to see you next year fo more fun.
Spanish design studio bel&bel has designed the ‘vespa seat’ which is made of original pieces upcycled from the famous piaggio scooter. using the front shield of the vespa, they have developed a limited edition rotating chair. The traditional character of the seat is upholstered in leather and has a strong internal structure and hydraulic piston for height regulation.
Before you think we’ve turned into a bunch of air kissing ponses we’ve not!
A good artist friend of ours, Nicola Parsons likes painting famous people and we think she’s pretty decent!
She wanted to get her name out there a bit and we were planning a party in the shop anyway, so we joined forces and that was that – we had ourselves a nice little art exhibition!
Bodeans supplied the food again and the booze was free which kept the road nice and blocked all night.
Apart from a few scum bags we had to turf out the turn out was good with some familiar faces like Cas Pannant and Paul Gallagher getting stuck into the pork ribs
and buying art?!?!
We’ve got loads more happening at the shop so we’ll give you the heads up with dates and info soon!
Check out the shop – 19 D’arblay St Soho London.
